Frequently Asked Questions
Shipping
When will my order ship?
Orders placed now are pre-orders from our limited first production run, expected to begin shipping on or around November 22, 2026, in time for Christmas. This is an estimate, not a guarantee — if that date moves, we'll email you with the choice to wait for the new date or to cancel for a full refund. We'll email you tracking as soon as your package leaves our facility in Lebanon, Tennessee.
Why is this a pre-order?
The Light of the World Halo Cross is manufactured in production runs, and the first run is limited. Pre-ordering reserves your packages from that first run and locks in your price — once it is spoken for, the next bulbs come from a later run. It's also what makes the mission possible — every pre-order funds the next run of bulbs.
Where do you ship from?
Lebanon, Tennessee, USA.
What does shipping cost?
Shipping is calculated at checkout based on your address. Orders over $110 ship free. Join our newsletter and we'll give you a free shipping code to use on your order.
Choosing your bulb
What's the difference between Base Up and Base Down?
It's about which direction your bulb screws into your light fixture, so the cross stands upright:
- Base Up — island pendants, exterior sconces, desk lamps, and string lights. The bulb hangs down out of the socket.
- Base Down — floor lamps, sofa lamps, wall lanterns, and chandeliers. The bulb stands up out of the socket.
Not sure? Choose Base Up. If you want to be certain, check the two lists above against the fixture you have in mind.
Will it fit my lamp?
Yes, if your lamp takes a standard American light bulb. The Light of the World Halo Cross uses an E26 base — the standard screw socket found in nearly every US home.
How many bulbs do I get?
Every package contains two bulbs.
Is the lamp base included?
No. Listings are for the LED bulbs only. Any lamp or holder shown in photos is for display purposes.
The bulb itself
How bright is it?
It's a 3W LED, equivalent to a 25W incandescent bulb — a warm, gentle glow rather than a harsh work light. It's designed to create peaceful, inviting spaces.
Is it dimmable?
Yes, fully dimmable. It works with standard household dimmer switches.
What color is the light?
2700K soft white — the warm, golden tone of traditional incandescent lighting.
Can you see the cross from every angle?
Yes. The cross filament is visible from a full 360 degrees, so it reads clearly no matter where you're standing.
Orders and returns
When am I charged?
Payment is taken in full at checkout when you place your pre-order.
Can I change or cancel my pre-order?
Yes. Contact us at Sales@DiscipleLighting.com any time before your order ships and we'll take care of it — no questions, no restocking fee. If our shipping date moves, we'll email you and you can choose to wait for the new date or cancel for a full refund.
What if my bulbs arrive damaged or don't fit?
We'll make it right. See our guarantee for details.
How do I care for the bulbs?
Handle by the base, and wipe the glass gently with a dry cloth.
The mission
What does my purchase support?
God's mission for Disciple Lighting is not to sell light bulbs — it's to unify the Church, share the Gospel, and glorify our Lord through everything we do. Every purchase carries that light into another home.
